Fuelled by Enon Kawatani's songwriting, Tokyo foursome Gesu no Kiwami Otome made their mark on the J-pop scene with agile, genre-hopping indie rock. The band intricately mesh prog rock idiosyncrasies with melodic pop keys, driving guitar lines and funk-inspired bass while sprinkling jazz and classical influences. These cuts are quirky, perky and vibrant.
