In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing Neil Young blasting on Saturday mornings. My Daddy singing along. It regulated his Spirit and made the whole house feel lighter. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Honestly, Nevermind Fleetwood Mac, Fleetwood Mac Neil Young, Harvest Moon Its rare nowadays to listen to an album top to bottom. These three give me all the language I need to navigate my feelings in this crazy world. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Proper Lady” This was one of my first songs I wrote. It embodies the whole story of my journey from Oregon/Alaska to the big city of Los Angeles. It also has my favorite drum pattern, four on the floor! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime I hear a child singing a prayer or quote from the Bahai writings that I put to melody it the ultimate payoff. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Bringing the band back, live performances in beautiful spaces and sharing my soul on stage.
