About Bark Psychosis

Despite its aggressive-sounding name, Bark Psychosis is a U.K. band thoroughly dedicated to creating mesmerizing sonic atmospheres. One of first groups to get tagged with the term “post-rock,” the ensemble, led by singer/multi-instrumentalist Graham Sutton, is largely considered the torchbearer to the kind of abstract art-rock pioneered by latter-day Talk Talk. With only two proper studio albums to its credit--1994’s influential HEX and 2004’s lauded CODENAME: DUSTSUCKER--the act is far from prolific, but Sutton keeps busy as a producer, most notably for Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) and British Sea Power.
