In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our second show ever was opening for H.R.'s (from Bad Brains) reggae band. They were touring for the Human Rights album. Along with two other local bands, we opened the show. It was our first taste of playing in a packed venue. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bad Brains, I Against I Funkadelic, Maggot Brain The Jam, All Mod Cons (1997 Remaster) Remastered Maggot Brain is an essential ingredient in our blueprint, especially the big riffs in Super Stupid and Hit It and Quit It. I Against I is perfect from beginning to end and All Mod Cons is Weller at his pensive and poetic best. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Either playing CBGBs for the first time in 1991 to a packed house or opening for Living Colour on the football field of UConn to 15,000+ people.
