Dot Rotten

About Dot Rotten

One of several grime artists to benefit from the mainstream breakthrough of Dizzee, Tinie, and Tinchy, South London MC Dot Rotten spent years building up a name for himself before working with everyone from X-Factor finalists to Brit Award-winning singer/songwriters. He released his first mixtape in 2007 and collaborated on Early B's "A Star" and P-Money's "Sounds & Gimmicks," as well as Cher Lloyd's "Dub on the Track." After signing with Mercury, he supported Chase & Status, Dappy, and J.Cole on U.K. tours, and released several diss tracks in a bitter dispute with Wiley. After releasing his debut single, "Keep It on a Low," he was shortlisted for the prestigious BBC Sound of 2012 poll and released his debut album. ~ Jon O'Brien
