Before becoming an in-demand producer for country upstarts Dustin Lynch and Chris Janson, Zach Crowell cut his teeth making beats and tracks for up-and-coming rap and hip-hop artists. Unsurprisingly, the Nashville native applies a similarly evocative, rhythm-forward approach to his country production work—especially on Sam Hunt’s laidback “Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90’s” and the nostalgic, R&B-kissed slow jam “Young Once.”
