In the post-Saturday Night Fever era, it seemed like every pop and rock star on the scene was flirting with disco rhythms. For some, it was a natural fit: acts like Elton John, Rod Stewart, and The Rolling Stones had always kept an ear cocked toward R&B. It was arguably a little stranger for KISS, Pink Floyd, or the Grateful Dead to hit the dance floor, but for some reason, it worked!
