Vince Gill: The '90s

The '90s was Vince Gill's breakout era. With his signature spring-heeled guitar style and smooth vocals, the Oklahoma native became a honky tonk legend, building a catalog of romantic ballads and upbeat country anthems. His career impressed Mark Knopfler so much that an invite to join Dire Straits followed. Gill politely declined, a move later rewarded by multiple wins at the GRAMMY®s and CMAs.
