Trinidadian Reggae

Think of Trinidad, and you probably think of calypso or soca rather than reggae. But the island has absorbed plenty of music from Jamaica, along with its underlying Rastafarianism. Artists such as Jah Bami, Marlon Asher, I-Sasha and Khari Kill have all become well respected in the field of roots reggae and have added Trinidadian steel drums, vibes, and culture.
