Editors’ Notes Following his stint as the frontman for The Buggles, Trevor Horn embarked on a career behind the boards. Working with a core group of collaborators—who formed avant-dance act The Art of Noise—Horn created '80s classics for ABC, Spandau Ballet, Yes, and Grace Jones. Horn's gloriously over-the-top work with Frankie Goes to Hollywood defined '80s excess, and he's maintained a solid career since.
