Top 100 2024: Shazam Radio Chart: Global

All year long, Shazam’s music recognition technology tracked what songs were being played on radio stations around the world. (That’s nearly 1 million hours of music each day, broadcasting on more than 40,000 stations from Sacramento to Stockholm to Seoul.) Country music came up huge worldwide in 2024: Among the year’s top 20 most-played songs were breakthrough hits from Dasha and Shaboozey and Beyoncé’s country crossover. Sabrina Carpenter ends a banner year with a trio of Top 100 hits (“Feather,” “Please Please Please,” “Espresso”). But the queen of the airwaves was Dua Lipa, who nabs the No. 1 spot, plus five more entries on the list. Hear what else the world listened to this year.
