The Poetics of Dimensions Exhibition Soundscape is a musical exploration and invitation to explore art through another sense entirely – tempo becomes texture, rhythm becomes color, and harmony becomes form. As visitors move through the exhibition space, this soundscape will be their guide into new sonic dimensions of artistic experience. Blending soulful dance, Afrobeats, ambient electronica, traditional percussion, disco, and futuristic synthesis, the fusion of sounds captures the vibrant spirit of the unconventional art forms that inhabit the walls of the ICA SF. Listeners will discover layers of musical complexity – deep bass lines conversing with ethereal melodies, traditional instruments reimagined through modern techniques, and vocals that bridge the ancient and contemporary.
