Never a band that went for half-measures, the Canadian greats approached every song with remarkable gusto. It helped that they had a belter of the first order in Burton Cummings, who brings the same degree of passion to the swoony acid folk of “Talisman” as he does to beefy boogie numbers like “Road Food” and his solo fan fave “My Own Way to Rock.”
