The Deep End

The Deep End

After overcoming all adversities, dealing with the law, becoming a father & losing people he loves. 'Deuce' seems very mature and locked in on this album, expanding his sound and music genre choice. Songs like "Rare" & "Can't Die Broke." Facing problems with his label which led to him releasing multiple albums that were later deleted or removed from all DSP's. He remained calm and slowly but surely got himself out of the deal and is now signed with "NAD Music." Which is a much better fit for him. This being his first official release with them, releasing an album with twenty songs shows that he's coming back for everything. This album isn't anything usual that we would get from 'Deuce.' Harmonizing vocals, high reverb on adlibs and vibe songs. From the beat selection all the way to the mixing on all the songs, you can clearly see he's in a different state of mind with the music. Maybe even a better one. Typically hitting us with a more aggressive mid-tempo flow, it's very nice and refreshing to hear a song like "Get It Done" featuring his best friend 'YF Mias' who delivers an outstanding performance on his verse. Even having background vocals on "Paparazzi." Long story short, this album will go down in history as one of the most anticipated, most hyped and influential albums ever. Time will tell us everything we need to know.
