Sleater-Kinney Essentials

Sleater-Kinney Essentials

Coming out of the Pacific Northwest at the end of the grunge era, Sleater-Kinney took the better-to-burn-out-than-fade-away approach to punk rock, resulting in a string of critically-lauded LPs that made them one of the most essential rock bands of the ‘90s. Their mainstream stay in the aughts proved to be equally fruitful, with the band seemingly flaming out in 2006 after hitting their creative peak with The Woods. However, SK made a triumphant return in 2015 with No Cities To Love, an instant classic that sounds as if the band never took a 10-year hiatus.
