Sampled: Ready to Die

The Notorious B.I.G.'s lyrical skills are front and center on Ready to Die, but the album's production just as much a part of the LP's legend. Featuring tracks from Easy Moe Bee, DJ Premier, Poke of Trackmaster and Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs, the album featured simple but brilliant interpolations of soul classics like Mtume's "Juicy Fruit" and Isley Brothers' "Between the Sheets" and clever chops of songs like Leroy Hutson's "Can't Say Enough About Mom."
