Editors’ Notes The Randy Rogers Band debuted in the mid-‘00s, eschewing the trappings of superstardom to make their name as heroes of the grassroots Red Dirt movement. With a sunbaked Western flavor, these Texas boys cooked up a savory stew of rock 'n' roll and roadhouse country with a dash of singer/songwriter sensibility. Dishing out some deliciously dirty guitar riffs with sawing fiddle to boot, Randy and the boys keep it raw and rocking on tunes like the morning-after stomp "Fuzzy," but they also know how to crank out a classic-country sound on two-stepping Lone Star tunes like "San Antone."
