Quincy Jones: The Session Musicians

Quincy Jones' credits are so numerous and varied that they could fill a book. As a conductor and arranger, he injects boldly colorful brass into the swinging “Fly Me To the Moon,” from Sinatra At the Sands, and as a composer, he cowrote “Rack 'Em Up,” a frenetic and deeply unsettling percussive piece from The Pawnbroker soundtrack. As a producer, he wraps guitarist George Benson's “Dinorah, Dinorah” in disco's glimmering strings and reverb.
