On their trio of multi-platinum LPs (which included seven international No. 1s) the pair established themselves as a signature act of the decade, selling more than 25 million albums and 15 million singles. After parting ways in 1986, Ridgeley has remained an active and successful songwriter while Michael became a global pop icon before his untimely passing in December 2016.
