Phil Spector: The Producers

Phil Spector: The Producers

Phil Spector probably would have been preferred to be remembered for his trademark "wall of sound," a heavenly production style designed to burst out of AM radio speakers and showcase his singers in the ‘60s. From The Ronettes to The Ramones, he revolutionized the very idea of pop music, but even that could not be his ultimate legacy. He was convicted of the murder of actor Lana Clarkson in 2009 and died in prison in 2021.
