Nonesuch: Explorer Series

From Tanzania to Japan, Bali to Mexico, the Nonesuch Explorer Series—under the guidance of concert pianist–turned–label exec Karen Stern—introduced the west to countless global music traditions. Nonesuch already had tastemaker status, but the Explorer Series has given many international artists and styles a new level of recognition, popularizing world music in the process.
