Utah band Neon Trees formed in 2005, making waves with a sound that splits the difference between the retro New Wave of The Killers and the pop-punk anthems of Fall Out Boy. With ‘80s-pop-inspired beats and irresistible hooks, their debut album Habits struck a chord with mainstream radio and even inspired a Glee cover. The band dipped their toe into the EDM scene by collaborating with producer Kaskade in their successful sophomore effort Picture Show. 2014's Pop Psychology layered bright guitar riffs over drum machines for another supremely listenable record.
