MYNAME Essentials

Created in 2011 by FLY TO THE SKY member Hwanhee, South Korean boy band MYNAME initially concentrated its efforts in Japan, where K-pop's high-energy sound first found success. Known as much for their other activities—films, modeling gigs, and the web series Pocket Boyfriend—as for their music, MYNAME add a hint of toughness to a well-practiced, dazzlingly choreographed idol-group blend of hip-hop, pop, and R&B. And their fans, the MYgirls, love them for it.
