Miles Davis: The Prestige Years
Apple Music

When Davis signed with Prestige Records in 1951, he set off on a journey toward perfecting the hard bop sound that would become his legacy. Playing at times with Sonny Rollins, Horace Silver, and John Coltrane, it was an inspired period for the trumpeter. Even the recordings he produced over two days in 1955 in order to break his contract have proven artistically astounding.
