Memphis Bleek Essentials

Born in the Marcy Houses, Memphis Bleek came in the game as JAY Z's protege. Introduced to heads on Jigga's debut album in '96, the Brooklyn spitter went on to name his own jump-off project, Coming of Age, after his guest turn on his mentor's LP. Three more albums followed throughout the aughts, all of them released on the Roc-A-Fella label and each of them hitting gold status. With a smooth flow and ability to go rhyme for rhyme with collaborators like Missy Elliott, T.I., and Beanie Sigel, Bleek's place in Brooklyn hip-hop history is secured.
