Editors’ Notes Formed in Tallahassee, Florida, in 2005, Mayday Parade hit the ground running with their first self-released EP in 2006, which sold over 50,000 copies based on word of mouth alone, leading to a record deal and spots on the Warped Tour. The band then soldiered through the departure of their original lead singer, releasing a series of albums to considerable acclaim. With a signature sound that incorporates strings and Derek Sanders' piano leads, Mayday Parade blend pop-punk, emo, and alt-rock on their anthemic jams. These guys are masters of the ultra emotional soaring chorus.
