Luke Fischbeck and Sarah Rara, the two musicians behind Lucky Dragons, have created one of the most challenging and exciting discographies to emerge from the vibrant L.A. experimental music scene. Largely made from found sounds and lo-fi recordings, the duo's work has drawn comparisons to the likes of Animal Collective and The Books, but also remains on the fringes of the indie mainstream, where audience participation, musical flexibility, and limited physical releases are still crucial to the culture.
