Teenaged acts made big waves on the Latin charts in the '80s. Luis Miguel and Lucero both launched long-running careers in their early teens, and Menudo became the definitive boy band. There was also room for everything from Maria Conchita Alonso's theatrical singing to Hombres G's Latinized rock.
