Music and spirituality have always been intertwined for Nashville-based singer-songwriter Leslie Jordan (not to be confused with the late actor/sometime-singer of the same name). Early on, she nearly became a minister before choosing the path of worship leader. From her home base at Brentwood, TN’s Journey Church, she and singer-songwriter David Leonard started the worship duo All Sons & Daughters in 2010. Over eight years and four albums, their emotionally intense, tightly focused tunes earned lofty placements on the Christian charts and eventually a Grammy nomination. The duo disbanded in 2018 and Jordan went solo, keeping her Christian roots but also influenced by the likes of Coldplay and Sufjan Stevens. Her gentle, breathy vocals and spare production style established her solo identity on a series of singles in 2020 and equally uncluttered EPs like 2022’s All That I Need To Know and the following year’s You Are With Me.
