They didn't call it doo-wop in the ‘50s; back then it was vocal group music or just rock 'n' roll. The sound however was unforgettable,and all about those voices. Many of doo-wop's greatest groups enjoyed only one or two hits, but The Crows, Silhouettes, The Crests and The Rivingtons all managed at least three minutes of pure glory.
