Since the '70s, Judas Priest's evolution has been nothing short of epic. In addition to their long list of metal anthems, they've banged out both tenacious, midtempo rock (“Sinner”) and nuclear screamers that draw elements of thrash into their orbit (“Hell Patrol”). They're also bold interpreters: Only Priest could turn Joan Baez's folk ballad “Diamonds and Rust” into stormy, riff-fueled heartbreak.
