Joni Mitchell: The Asylum Years
Apple Music

After four years at Reprise Records, Joni Mitchell became an early signing to David Geffen's new Asylum label. Starting with 1972's For the Roses, Mitchell's Asylum years found her shedding her girl-with-a-guitar image, exploring soft rock, jazz fusion, and what was beginning to be called world music on experimental, impressionistic albums like 1975's The Hissing of Summer Lawns.
