John Mellencamp: Working Man Songs
Apple Music

John Mellencamp began as Johnny Cougar but he slowly shed that identity and revealed himself to be an excellent roots-rocker and a songwriter with some depth. Beginning with '83's Uh-Huh—the first album to feature his given last name—and especially on its follow-ups, Scarecrow and The Lonesome Jubilee, Mellencamp penned lasting laments and anthems for the working class.
