Jazz and David Bowie

David Bowie was fascinated by jazz, and the jazz world returned the fascination. This playlist consists of artists like The Bad Plus and Robert Glasper giving their renditions of Bowie classics, as well as his own dalliances with the musical style, from covering Nina Simone's “Wild Is the Wind,” perhaps one of his finest vocal performances, to his 2016 jazz-fueled swan song Black Star.
