INXS: Deep Cuts

INXS: Deep Cuts

You know them for killer funk rock hits with big hooks, but there's much more to this Australian band. In their early days, they fused nervy New Wave with glassy synth-pop on “In Vain” and “Underneath the Colours.” Michael Hutchence's leonine vocals are a constant, bouncing off the slinky beat of “Black and White” or hitting the stadium ceiling on the uplifting rock grandeur of “Don't Change.”
