In the Mix: Trentemøller

Anders Trentemøller has spent his musical life in the experimental hinterland between indie rock and electronic music, and his remix work (some of which is collected here) betrays this dual fascination. Original songs are warped, organic sounds are removed and replaced with synthetics, but often the voice is left, ensuring the song continues to operate, like a disembodied head that can somehow still speak.
