Grizzly Bear's intricate, experimental indie rock branches off in many directions, each one vivid and often ornate. The folky bounce of “Deep Blue Sea” is imbued with noisy flourishes and slapping percussion, while Daniel Rossen's solo turn on “Silent Song” is all calm, piano-driven melancholy. The many remixes—including Nicolas Jaar's spacey take on “Sleeping Ute”—are simply stunning.
