An inventive band in their own right, Boston's Galaxie 500 were also music fans and collectors. Their too-small catalog includes a series of cover versions, remaking both their influences (The Velvet Underground, Young Marble Giants) and world-famous indie bands (New Order) in their own dreamy style.
