Poco is the crucial link between ‘60s folk rock and ‘70s country rock, spinning off from Buffalo Springfield and into the Eagles. They were one of the first bands to combine country twang and rock ‘n' roll energy in the ‘70s. Between spinoffs and solo projects, Poco's family tree ends up looking like a veritable history of West Coast roots rock.
