Originally from Coyotitán, Sinaloa, singing sensation El Coyote started his musical career at the young age of 19. Before going solo, he was the vocalist for a number of major bands in Mexico, such as Banda la Costeña, La Original Banda El Limon, and Banda Los Recoditos. In late 1997, he was finally ready to take the stage alone with the release of his first solo album, Aqui Me Quedare. El Coyote would continue to record at a furious pace for the following decade and a half, releasing an average of a new album every year—sometimes even more.
