David Guetta: Music That Moves Me

Exercise is a non-negotiable for David Guetta. “Honestly, I train whenever I can, everywhere I can,” the superstar DJ tells Apple Music. “On the road, in hotels, at home in my gym. It’s always been part of my life. If I have 30 minutes, I’ll use them. If I have an hour, even better.” There are the physical benefits, of course (“I mix weight training, cardio, and rowing,” says Guetta of his own routine), but what keeps him committed is how good exercising is for his mind. “It keeps my head clear,” he says. “I don’t drink. I’m a bit addicted to training now but in a good way. It gives me balance and mental peace.” So what does one of the world’s biggest DJs cue up when he needs to get in the zone? The music in this playlist—a mix of Guetta classics (yes, he works out to “Titanium” too) and his own remixes, as well as endurance-boosting moments from names including Maarten de Jong, Ginchy, SKIY, and John Newman. Starting with Guetta’s own energy-building “Gone Gone Gone,” featuring Teddy Swims and Tones And I, and closing out with the euphoria of his 2025 collaboration with Hypaton and Bonnie Tyler, “Together,” it’s a playlist that’s been designed to carry you all the way through your next workout—and help you dig deep when you need it most. “When I train, I need music that lifts me,” says Guetta. “Tracks that give me energy, confidence, momentum. Some are classics, some are new, but they all have that emotional push, that feeling like you’re moving forward. For me, DJing is like being an athlete, on stage, you can’t fake it. So training, music, mindset—it’s all connected.”
