Editors’ Notes When electronic music exploded in the United States in the mid '90s, The Crystal Method were right there at the center of it all. Inspired by their wild nights out, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland formed the group in 1993, fusing their rock, hip-hop, and pop influences. Buoyed by single "Busy Child," their '97 debut helped define the electronica/big beat era alongside English peers like The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Two decades later, The Crystal Method are viewed as forefathers of the modern EDM scene.
