Editors’ Notes When Dylan Baldi started Cloud Nothings, it was just a name for his lo-fi bedroom project of jangly, upbeat noise-pop tunes. That iteration of the band found some success through two LPs, but it was the 180 Baldi took on 2012's Attack On Memory that led to Cloud Nothings' breakout. Enlisting Steve Albini to bring out the edge in a much darker collection of songs, Baldi picked up a scream that surprised even his bandmates and reinvented Cloud Nothings as a post-hardcore band—one that retained all of his mastery of pop hooks, as showcased in 2014's Here and Nowhere Else.
