Christian "Black" Metal

Unblack metal, as it is frequently labeled, is a faith-based variation of black metal that marries the genre's sonic trademarks (wraithlike vocals, blurry distortion, ghostly atmospherics) to lyrics steeped in Christian faith. The result is an uplifting form of extreme metal that delivers light and hope to a movement generally soaked in bleakness and despair.
