Though Seger's singles remain among the most bulletproof songs of the '70s and '80s, the albums attached were nothing to sniff at either. Scratch the surface of Night Moves and you'll find slinky, sinister rockers (“Come to Poppa”). Go looking for “Like a Rock” and you'll find the driving anti-drug song “American Storm.” Stick around for the '90s and the breathless “The Fire Inside.” They're just as durable as any of Seger's biggest hits.
