Best of SoCal Hardcore
Apple Music

During the late '70s and early '80s, Southern California bands transformed punk into the faster, louder, angrier sound of hardcore. Local labels like SST and Posh Boy released 90-second bursts of thrashing energy by Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Descendents, while Minutemen, Redd Kross, Social Distortion, and Agent Orange added pop, metal, surf, and more influences into the mix.
