The second round of our hair metal retrospective features some of the poppiest tunes in the genre's catalog, including schoolyard-friendly cuts by Europe, Damn Yankees, and Extreme. At the same time, a handful of vets, including Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and Van Halen, were riding the crest of a pumped-up comeback, while the heavier shape of things to come was delivered by The Cult.
