Best of Dreamville Records
Apple Music
Since cofounding Dreamville Records in 2007, J. Cole's eye for talent has been 20/20. L.A.'s Cozz makes cement-hard gangsta rap (the stark piano and gunfire of “Dreams”), while NYC's Bas sinks into a more languid style (the slow, spacey “Night Job”). Some of the label's finest cuts are by Cole himself: Tracks like “Power Trip,” which rides a thumping electric groove, powered his rise to stardom.
