Inciting mosh pits since the late '90s, Deathwish Inc. has coughed up gobs of killer hardcore punk. Many of the scene's most vital bands—Converge, Integrity, Blacklisted, Coliseum—litter the label's catalog. But don't pigeonhole the Deathwish crew. By releasing off-kilter sounds from goth folkie Wovenhand and blackened shoegazers Deafheaven, it proves committed to growth and change.
