How did the sound of Scottish folk music end up on an island off the coast of Canada? By way of an immigration wave in the 18th and 19th centuries, with droves of Scottish fiddlers among those who found themselves a new home. That Celtic-tinged, Canada-bred Cape Breton sound is still going strong thanks to some fiery fiddling torchbearers.
